SIO Amravati seeks relaxation in Scholarship norms

Amravati:- Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) Amravati Unit submitted a memorandum to Join Director of Education demanding relaxation in some condition for getting merit scholarship to minority students.
Irshad Khan, District Organizer of Amravati, informed that Central Government has asked to submit to declaration of income/religion on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.20 for getting scholarships for various classes. These paper are not available in Maharashtra, hence students have to submit stamp paper of Rs.200.This condition should be canceled, demanded SIO.
As per Pre-SSC Scholarships form, other forms should be made available by government at colleges. Government also should cancel the condition of opening account only in Bank of Maharashtra. They should allow student to open account at any bank, the organization demanded Date of form submission of scholarship forms is August 15 but due to strike of teachers and employees, these dates should be extended.
Central Government should formed a cell of expert to guide about details of these scholarships asked Khan. Members & Associate of SIO of India were present on the occasion.
They threatened to stage agitation if these demands are not fluffed at earliest.
